Asian Style Green Beans

Ingredients

  • 4 or 5 cans whole green beans (drained thoroughly)

  • 1/2 to 1 lb cooked bacon, cut into about ½” to 1” lengths

  • 1 cup light brown sugar

  • 2 teaspoon soy sauce

  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder

  • ½ cup melted butter

Instructions

  1. Spray a casserole dish with pam

  2. Arrange drained beans in casserole

  3. Combine brown sugar, soy sauce, garlic powder, and melted butter. Pour mixture over beans and stir to coat.

  4. Marinate overnight.

  5. Sprinkle bacon over mixture before baking.

  6. Bake at 350 about 30 minutes or until bubbly.
