Original Crispix Mix

Ingredients

  • 7 cups Kellogg's Crispix cereal

  • 1 cup mixed nuts

  • 1 cup pretzels

  • 3 tablespoons melted butter

  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic salt

  • 1/4 teaspoon onion salt

  • 2 teaspoons lemon juice

  • 4 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 250 degrees F.

  2. Combine the Crispix cereal, nuts, and pretzels in a 9x13-inch baking dish.

  3. In a bowl or measuring cup, mix together the melted butter, garlic salt, onion salt, lemon juice, and Worcestershire sauce. Drizzle evenly over the cereal mixture while stirring gently to coat.

  4. Place the baking dish in the oven and bake at 250 degrees F for 45 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes.

  5. Spread the cereal mixture on paper towels to cool and drain off excess butter. 

  6. When cool, store in an airtight container.

Notes:

This can be prepared in the microwave. After mixing all the ingredients, microwave on high for 4 minutes, stirring halfway through the cooking time.
