Pickled Green Beans

Ingredients

  • 2 cans whole green beans

  • 2 onions

  • ⅔ cup vinegar

  • ⅔ cup sugar

  • Scant 1/2 cup oil

  • 1 tsp. salt

  • 1 tsp. celery seed

Instructions

  1. Drain green beans

  2. Slice onions

  3. Alternate layers of onions and bean

  4. Mix together remaining ingredients and pour over vegetables

  5. Refrigerate at least 48 hours. Stir occasionally
