Pickled Green Beans

Ingredients
2 cans whole green beans
2 onions
⅔ cup vinegar
⅔ cup sugar
Scant 1/2 cup oil
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. celery seed
Instructions
Drain green beans
Slice onions
Alternate layers of onions and bean
Mix together remaining ingredients and pour over vegetables
Refrigerate at least 48 hours. Stir occasionally
