Risen Waffles

Ingredients
½ C Warm Water
1 Pkg Active Dry Yeast
2 C Milk, warmed
½ C Butter, melted
1 tsp Salt
1 T Sugar
2 C All-Purpose Flour
2 Eggs
¼ tsp Baking Soda
Instructions
Place water in large mixing bowl and sprinkle in Yeast. Let stand for five minutes until Yeast in dissolved.
Add warm Milk, Butter, Salt, Sugar and Flour.
Beat with hand mixer until smooth and blended.
Cover with plastic wrap and let stand overnight at room temperature.
Just before cooking, beat in the Eggs and add Baking Soda until well mixed.
Batter will be very thin. Pour ½-3/4 C into hot, greased waffle iron and bake until golden brown and crisp.
Makes 8 waffles and can be kept in refrigerator for several days.
