Sausage Casserole

Ingredients

  • 16 slices cubed white bread, crust removed

  • 1 lb sausage

  • 1 lb sharp cheddar cheese, grated

  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

  • 1 1/2 cups swiss cheese, grated

  • 6 eggs

  • 3 cups of milk

  • 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard

  • 1/2 cup butter

  • 3 cups crushed corn flakes

Instructions

  1. Add half of bread to greased 9x13-in pan. 

  2. Add sausage and cheese. 

  3. Cover with remaining bread cubes. 

  4. Combine eggs, milk, salt, and mustard. Pour over dish. 

  5. Refrigerate overnight. Before cooking, combine butter and corn flakes and sprinkle over top. Bake in a 375° oven for 40 minutes.
