Sugared Pecans

Ingredients

  • 2 cups of pecan halves

  • 1 egg white

  • 1 tablespoon water

  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar

  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon

  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 300 degrees.

  2. Whisk egg and water together. Add sugar and spices.

  3. Stir in pecans until well coated.

  4. Spread pecans on cookie sheet with parchment paper in single layer (do not double the recipe).

  5. Bake 20 minutes at 300 degrees, stirring 2-3 times.

  6. Cool on rack and store in covered container.
