Vidalia Onion Casserole

Ingredients

  • 5 large Vidalias

  • 2 sticks of butter or margarine

  • 24 Ritz crackers, crumbled

  • Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Peel, slice, and separate onions into rings.

  2. Sauté in butter until clear. Do not brown.

  3. Layer: half the onions, half the crackers, sprinkle cheese

  4. Repeat layer.

  5. Bake uncovered a 325° about 30 minutes
