Vidalia Onion Casserole

Ingredients
5 large Vidalias
2 sticks of butter or margarine
24 Ritz crackers, crumbled
Parmesan cheese
Instructions
Peel, slice, and separate onions into rings.
Sauté in butter until clear. Do not brown.
Layer: half the onions, half the crackers, sprinkle cheese
Repeat layer.
Bake uncovered a 325° about 30 minutes
